Memoriam of Youth
I recall so littleOf my youth
But what I do
Is lovely truth
Late at night
With my bear
Lying in bed
Without a care
Hide and seek
On a birthday
I hid so well
Under a stairway
Packing things up
To run away
Cookies and socks
And games to play
Nintendo games
With my dad
Playing with him
Made me so glad
Lego castles
So very strong
Defended well
From all wrong
A sunny day
On the beach
Basking in
The sun's reach
Sitting outside
Reading a book
How simple it was
In my wee nook
Summer time
At grandma's home
Lemonade stands
A place to to roam
What simple times
And happy memories
Except that time
I got stung by bees
