May I Share Your Day
May I Share Your Day
As I awake the day is cold.
The morning sounds are very slow.
I move ever so softly through the room.
With hopes of hearing or feeling you move.
The break of day is around the bend.
And the coffee's on the stove.
The fire is warming things up fine.
It's time to rise and shine.
But in the silence of the morn.
I hear your sweet voice say to me.
Good morning my child .
And how are you today?
Your worries and problems are mine.
We will sat here and talk for a while.
And share what's on your mind.
Then you go your way I'll go mine.
Everything will be just fine.
As we have our little talk .
Your sweet spirit fills my soul.
With the warmth of your sweet array.
To help me start another day.
With you by my side what more could i say.
A tender voice and loving care.
Let's me know you are always there.
Just let me say
Thank you Jesus .
May i share your day.
