    Loving YOU Long Distance

Loving you long distance,is harder than it seems
I can't hear your voice on the phone
so i imagine you in my dreams,
The moments I spent holding you,
    And keeping you in line
I couldn't help but think to myself
It's just a matter of time
Before you grow up to become a man
    With loyalty and respect
    Having learned from my mistakes
Some in which I truly regret
Although I haven't seen you in years
Due to wrong decisions I've watched you grow in your pictures
So many memories will never fade
With over three hundred miles of separation
I pray daily that you're safe
The time will present itself soon
For me to take my rightful place
As a caring father who loves his son to the core
I WILL BE HAPPY TO ANNOUCE
I AM LOVING YOU LONG DISTANCE NO MORE.

I'm not a parent, but I can relate to this piece because I not only see it, but I feel it as well. Thank you for this beautiful poem.
