    LOVE'S TALE

    Love’s tale

    It’s like a song,

    The hearts merry harbor

    This shores made me a

    Home, tall like a mountain

    Love makes it flow

    Glow the colors of blue

    Like arts: paint by paint

    Brush Stroke by brush stroke

    Its long …lingering echo

    Weights, drowning, filled

    With her love infested potion

On this bit a lay her head,

    Eternal till life be still…

Whence it drift I recon not

Oh the wind grace my heart

    Jolted back on shore…for life

    Still let in her veins

    Rising, fiercely as it erupts

    Clouding the heights with

    With molten love….

    Like magma, in this lane

    I lay me head…till morrow

    Comes or not

This path I will to lead and this

Heart not for rent. Strictly meant

For the one that hold me bare

    Her love’s my covering, her

    Bosom my shade and her

    Hair my silky shirt and

    Her words my song...

    Her kisses: the memories of

    Time and beauty of loves’

Desire, cheers! To her my love

    My crown jewel, my queen,

    Love’s tales in shinning light.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
