    Love's Reflection

    And our hearts beat together,
as the crashing of the waves.

    And our love was forever,
    as unending as the sea.

I found my purpose on earth,
like the ocean found the shore.

    Carry me away,

    into the dawn,

     forevermore.

Short, simple and youthfully refreshing. I love short poems that can convey their message without being wordy.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
