    Love

Though love may come and love may go
Through summer shine and winter snow
    Yet friendship stays in place

Though love can laugh it also cries
It sometimes crawls it sometimes flies
    But friendship keeps its pace

Though love can win and love can loose
A joyous dance or painful blues
    While friendship does not race

Though love is light its alos dark
It's sometimes bite and sometimes bark
    The friendship makes the base

Though love is hope and and deep dispair
Though love can choke or give you air
    True friendship leaves you space

I'd love to be your lover, but I want to be your friend
I'd love to be the starter but prefer to be the end
I'd love to be the peak, but will meet you on the plain
I'd love to be your pleasure but will comfort you in pain
Cos friendship's not the joker but the ace
