    Closeness Never Grows Apart

    I close my eyes and think of things,
    That were and are and may yet be,
    I free my thoughts and let them roam
    and let my mind choose what to see
     
    And so I think of all those times
    When you and I were strong and free
    I feel your nearness give me warmth
    And let your laughter comfort me
     
    For closeness never grows apart
    Those moments shared stay in the heart
