Love with a kiss

Love with a kiss

It all started with just one kiss,
I would have never have known it would have grown into this.
For all the times we spent in each others arms,
We make each other feel so safe from any harm.

Over time my feelings kept growing for you,
And yours as well knowing you loved me too.
To think it all started with just that one kiss,
Then became overwhelmed with pure bliss.

Knowing no matter what we have a love we share,
The love we have is wild and rare.
From a kiss to making love,
You are truly a gift from above.

I hope what we have will last for life,
For in time I would love to ask you to be my wife.
We will be happy and together do so much,
And even when we're separate we'll keep in touch.

This is a wonderful poem! If you marry you will also have God's blessing on your union. A good thing! Marriage brings honest commitment to the table. The picture you used for this poem...I painted it (copied from this) about thirty years ago. Mine was better than the original..lol. Well...I enjoyed reading your stuff, Tiger. Keep writing! Ape

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
