Love Me By The Moonlight

The moonlight shines,
off your hair.
My dreams are mine,
to share.
Take my hand,
don't ever let go.
We'll fly to the moon,
and have our dreams there.
Together we'll soar,
above the world,
and watch it as it spins.
Just me and you,
together forever,
we'll never go back again.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
