Lotus Eater
Lotus Eater
She was poised as a rare, and wondrous orchard transfixing both day and night
A silvery mist adorned Her lovely contours-draping Her with empyrean delight
As She ascended i descended to the ashes
kneeling amidst the under-gird of smoldering hues of grey
In the wake of Her sangfroid redolence i languidly relent
succumbing to
Her opiate embrace
Never too bold to escape Her smothering stronghold
i resign to be so imbued
a hopeless slave reveling in obscure depravity
subject to Her opiate state
Onsets of depression
misguided aggression and
guilty obsessions are all met equally by Her governance and forbearance
Therein i abide in reprieve i reside with Her all too transient grace
