Poem Commentary

To The Survivors

Lost With Time

Is time of no consequence?
Words are spoken in such malice.
Meaning is gone in the winds of time.
Blows fly and bruises unseen.
How it is this came to be?
Visual burns then fill with sunder.
What I see is a moment in space.
Midpoints now feel torn and abnormal.
All those precious years seem meaningless.
Fear has overpowered all senses.
Sadness is all that is present.
What has been left behind?
How long have I been here?
When did I arrive?
How do I survive?
