Poem Commentary

Seeing that the one who left you behind wasn't even worth it.

Lost And Found

Drenched in mist lay flat
Searching for signs of life distant
Not the wind blows a scent
So moist a fire could not be lit
My mind lost more then a bit
Easing for a cool shallow pool
How could I have been such a fool?
Does my fate call for pain?
After all this what will I gain?
Wonder floods my own reality
Dazed in migranes of hurt
Twisted inside out
Finding myself again I doubt
Breaking the blade
My heart, a dark invade
I awoke with a gasp
To see I only dreamt that need of you
Seeing myself alive in life
A smile of victory fills my face
I see I won this race Drenched Drenched
Drenched in mist lay flat
Searching for signs of life distant
Not the wind blows a scent
So moist a fir could not be lit
My mind lost more then a bit
Easing for a cool shallow pool
How could I have been such a fool?
Does my fate call for pain?
After this what will I gain?
Wonder floods my own reality
Dazed in migraines of hurt
Twisted inside out
Finding myself again I doubt
Breaking the blade
My heart, a dark invade
I awoke with a gasp
To see I only dreamed that need of you
Seeing myself alive in life
A smile of victory fills my face
I see i won this race

A nice realization piece about the build up of the situation being greater than the actual situation, good write.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
