    Loss

I've become so empty and loss
    purposeless and confused
    My rights some how wrongs
    My goods some how bad
The love in me has abruptly diminished
Replaced with hate and to much despair
I'm without motion almost crippled in my own self pity
And I know not which way I suppose to proceed
I've prayed and pleaded as much as I know how
Yet still I find myself stuck right here in time
    What do I do?
    What can I say?
    How must I continue..............
if all that I know I never really knew
I'm begging for some guidance or even just a small sign
I have to find out where it is that I stand
So that I may tomorrow step out on the path I was all along destined.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
