Looking For His Love
A church here, a church there,
Is his love anywhere?
I visited on day and sat on the pew,
Someone looked at me and asked who are you?
No one special I replied wit a little fear,
I'm looking for someone that I am not sure is here.
They wanted to help me, I didn't think they could,
How would they believe I was here because of a piece of wood?
I decided to trust them for I needed to see,
If I could get what he had for me.
I told them who I was looking for,
They said I had come through the right door.
They chuckled and said listen dear,
I'm sure you will find that he's right here.
That day I learned through words carried on air,
Jesus is here, there, and everywhere.
If I look to him I will see,
His love did not die on the tree.
Finally, I have been set free,
I found his love for you and me.
