    Long Night

Hello my love, my one and only dove.
I write you this poem cause my feelings push and shove.

My heart has been aching, slowly crumbling breaking.
I can't help if I keep shaking, nervous my words keep falling slowly.

Falling out of my head, then my hope quickily turns to dread.
My heart slows, then is dead it no longer flows silky red.

It's black and cold as ice,I remember when things were nice.
I just want to say surprise, it is all just a dream. Goodnight

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
