Poem Commentary

This really isn't a poem for me, its for my brother who just had his heart broken, and I suppose its more like a song, so sing it, anyway you want, just make sure it has a sad ring to it. <3

Listening to the rain.

I listen to the rain, as it trickles down my window.Laughing as I go insane, because i'm a lonely widow.
Nothing seems to shake this pain, I'm even afraid of my own shadow.
I can't believe how pitiful it all seams, nothing to show for falling apart at the seem.
Listen, watch and wait, for the crash of the waves against the shattered rock.
Waiting for, that last heart beat, ready  to make it my own.
I listen to the rain, as it trickles down my window. Fighting this faint evil is such a sad sorrow.
Waiting for the sound the rain makes as it hits the ground.
Somewhere there is a fire blazing like the burning sun, I can't smile though I'm having fun.
She crushed my heart and left me there in my corner of the street.
When I heard the flicker of my tiny little flame, my mind began to race.
Feelings a blaze, mind lost in pure rage. I just wanted to watch as the world turn to ash.
Nothing left to wait for except for the clash of fire and ice.

Now I sit in my room all alone, back in reality, listening to the rain fall, as though I had never left.
Sadness striking my heart to the core, I really can't believe I ever laughed before.
But now I can't keep it in, Laughing as I go insane, lost thoughts of pure pain.
Every attempt to free myself another plan in vain.
Now I ask myself if it was all really worth it.
but now...my flames, starts to turn wane......

heart wrenching! Loss is never easy especially when there was ao much happiness, I'm sorry your brother is hurting.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
