    Life Poem

Life so dear, Peace so sweet

Being created by an ancient figure which we call God,

    Now isn’t that neat?

    Slavery awful, Freedom cool

You can learn about history in a library or at school.

Knowledge you can get. Knowledge you can have.

Calculus and Pre-Calculus, now that’s what I call math.

With science you can learn about stuff like climates.

Art is what Mozart probably liked on the side ‘cause music was his main pride.

This is what I’d like to call a ‘Life Poem’, A poem of life.

It could be one of the best poems ever created.

    Now wouldn’t that be nice?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
