Tonight is a good night,

Lets play pretend,

I will go to the market, buy the best

I will enter my kitchen, prepare the best

lets pretend, tonight is a special night,

I will rush to the bathroom, take a shower

I will spruce up, look the best

tonight lets pretend you will be at my door

I will let you in, with a smile and a hug

To a candle lit dinner

I will play the song, our song

And dance to your hearts pleasure

Just to see the twinkle in your eyes

tonight lets pretend i will be in your arms,

to be yours, and you mine

Even if it’s just in my wildest of dreams

Tonight only, lets pretend
