Leaves And Breeze

Leaves And Breeze

Torture this cold shivering soul
Plunging further into the darkest of nights
Take from what was once whole
Shape and mold it to your desires
I will allow it as is my way
Once so full of hope and light
Brilliantly burning so bright
The dreams once ascertained
Are now leaves laying decayed and dead
Swept by a turbulent breeze
Freezing one from with in
Can no true person bring me joy?
Am I doomed to drudge, trudge through this plight?
Surely there must be some salvation soon in sight

I love the metaphors in this one, May... and the final two lines wrap the piece up perfectly. Very nicely written!

SO SCARS MAKE YOUR SOUL SHALLOW,,INTERESTING AND SMALL,FOR MY SOUL IS FULL OF VIGOR AND HIDDEN PANES OF LONG LAST REALITY,YES THERE IS FOR YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR SELF AND LIVE AGAIN,,

I see now what my status reads but it isn't what I meant. What I meant to say is that if there were a person who didn't have any pains or trauma's then they would be shallow since it is what makes us who we are today. It is the hardship of life that gives us depth and understanding. With out it we would live perpetously innocent as do children and for me that is really no life at all.

look at it like this,,innocence is great for a child, but what if you remain a kid and never grow to understand the hardships of this world, that sound good,,anyway my vibes is poetry and thats what I write, its honest and true and never ment to dis, poetry is what you feel there is no explanation why,it is that what you see with your soul,,stay safe,,

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
