    Learning the meaning of Why

    Why not?
    Because you are a child,
    And I said so.

    Why not?
    It's bad for you
And you're not supposed to do it.

    Why not?
    Yes, why not?
    Because I can.
    Because I want.

    Why not?
    Because I can.
    Because I want
Just because I can, doesn't mean I should.

    Why not?
    Because now I know why.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
