Late at Night

Late at Night

she lays in her bed late at night

wondering when this hell will turn to light

wanting to wake up and things be ok

how things were back in the old days

shes sitting in her bed late at night

just sitting there listening to her parents fight

it wasnt alwayz this way

we never used to fight everyday

so day by day she tries to figure it out

what caused it and what its really all about

she sits in her bed very late

trying to find her own escape

the music doesnt always cut it anymore

it brings memories back, not away like they did before

things got so bad she thought death was an option

but how does that help, it just means you have no compation

she turns to guys for her support

though all of those relationships were short

she continues and trys her best

trys to make it threw like all the rest

she counts the days

waiting to be 18 so she can go away

leave this place

so she wont have to see her own face

when she dies

cant stand saying final good-byes

please let me out

so i can figure ME out!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
