    Joy

    my mind is not my own... 
           she has taken over...

    my heart just can't let go... 
           she fills my soul all around...

    now is the time...
           to think about my life...

    now is the day...
           to think of yesterday...
      
    she infests my brain...
           her ways so great...

    because of her...
           my life is filled with Joy...

    let love rejoice!  (:

    short, sweet, and though enjoyable, slightly mundane. to me, it almost seems like simple thoughts put to stanzas, not like a poem. great concept though, even if it may be a bit cliche ;) good job, keep writing!
