Journies

His Journey Her Journey

He left her waiting She waits for him.
On his journey Staring at the path he left behind.
Said he didn't need her She wants to follow
He knew that he lied But she refrains
His journey is a lonely one      Knowing that he will not let her.
He wants to return to her He doesn't need her on his journey.
So they can go on a journey together But she needs him on hers.
But if he returns he will break his pact with himself Her journey; the one she will not leave for
His pride is more important to him             Until he returns
He regrets leaving But he is gone
But he would regret returning              He isn't coming back.
Even more.
