Excuse me but there is something that I have to say,
It's about December 25th, it's not our birthday.
Before you say anything just think twice,
But isn't that the day we put aside for Jesus Christ?
We run around buying expensive gifts and getting into debt,
Trying to remember everyone and its our Savior we forget.
Trying to look good in everyone's eye,
Knowing that they can't save us from our sins no matter how hard they try.
We should think about how it all begun,
And why God gave us His only begotten Son.
We should teach our children about Jesus without any pause,
And let them know that its not about some Santa Claus.
No its not about you or me or any of us,
Its about Emmanuel, the Messiah its about Jesus.
So for the next few weeks try to remember these words that I say,
But most of all remember this, December 25th, it's not our birthday.
