its all his faulght not yours at all

i wanted what we used to have
but know its gone
i want it bad

the things you thought
they werent true
i just wish i didnt listen to her
that little one she told me no
and know its just too late you say
cuz you were what she wanted to day

and now that she is with you
i understand
cuz you were playing me
i wish that he had never done what he did to you
for if not i wouldnt be missing you

You came out the other side, Slipkind, and you came out stronger. Remember the past so you don't make the same mistakes, but don't dwell in it because then you can't move forward. Very nice writing and sharp technique.

Dont miss someone who played you. He doesnt sound like someone worth missing/or even thinking of. Think of him as a lesson learned. Never a regret!

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
