Invisible Beauty

Invisible Beauty

It’s been hard to sit here and act like I haven’t noticed.

The proof is rite here because you’re the reason I wrote this.

But there is something attractive about you that I can’t really see.

It seems to be the beauty within you that captivates me.

Don’t get me wrong God did an amazing job with creating the temple that shelters your soul.

But it’s something within you that keeps my recovering heart from turning back cold.

As a beautiful woman you have the ability to attract any man with your flesh.

But as a man of God I’m able to look pass that and see why you’re really blessed.

And this beauty that I see can’t be seen by the men of this world.

Because I see a woman with heavenly characteristics and they just see a beautiful girl.

You remind me of the Samsonite Woman when you remind them of Halle Berry.

Now I’m not prophesying love because only time can tell if you’re the one I should marry.

But I will carry this attraction to your spirit and what it does to me.

Just wanted to let you know I was attracted by your invisible beauty.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
