Into the Exeo-plane

Into the Exeo-plane

This journey marks an end to reality my friend, my foe

Here we depart, never to realize the infamy you know

I escort you to this place of solitude and seclusion

So that I may have peace from your irrational delusion

The voyage grows darker from this point in time my friend, my foe

Ever apart, I attain the better, the worst I bestow

I concede to you that I once believed your misconceptions

Reality changed as I learned the ways of your deceptions

Into the Exeo-plane, I cast the stones of my spills

Within this abyss, a once bottomless pit fills

Just one more demon to push inside before I go insane

Just one more reason to seal the Exeo-plane

This passage is split and symbiotic my friend, my foe

From this new start, your influence lessens its grip on my soul

I won’t spot your path with light of reconciliation

The Exeo-plane awaits… I have made my decision

Into the Exeo-plane, amass the stones of my spills

Within this abyss, a once bottomless pit fills

Just one more demon to push inside before I go insane

Just one more reason to seal the Exeo-plane

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
