    In Love?

Where is love, Am I already there?
I don’t recall feeling this right before.
Like a gentle breeze fluttering by my heart.
My soul and spirit dance with explore.

Our eyes smile back and forth at each other.
A sweethearts dance of lovers a new and old.
Our silence is an unwritten rhapsody.
As we touch and taste the melody unfolds.

The stroke of my hand down your back.
Your tender kisses find way to my lips.
My rapid heart beats against your chest.
You caress me closer as your hand pull in my hips.

The gentle vibrato of my body against yours.
This music has our souls pound a relentless beat.
Kisses grow passionate as we’re out of breath.
Pounding hearts in tangled with the heat.

You pull away and move my hair from my eyes.
My hands a muck through your drenched hair.
All this endless desire in kisses a tune.
Where is love? Am I already there?

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
