    In Dreams

So long its been that I have strode,
    With thee along the fells
Its beauty now returns to me,
    Like dulcet ringing bells.

Across the moorland's we have roamed,
    Through sun; wind and storm.
Its beauty shined through out it all,
    Not leaving us forlorn.

    Cascading waters from the crags,
Spread mist so fine that glows.
In dreams I see its radiance,
    Arced as a great rainbow.

Shall not I; thy splendour see,
    Thy browns; greys and greens.
Or maybe you will come to me,
    One day again in dreams.
