    • I absolutely love my girlfriend i don't know what i would ever do without her here in my life

    i'm loosing you

why do i feel i miss you so?
my eyes fall upon you each day
    the thoughts inside of me
have explored you in some way
so why do i feel the distance between
though your standing right beside me
as i open my arms to embrace of your touch
its a blanket of nothing i feel
i find myself searching for you
as i gaze through your familiar face
the warmth of your nature is lost to me
roaming in a far off place
    reason for your slow departure
is an understanding too far beyond me
your grip is falling and slipping away
i feel like pains open eye is upon me
so i ache in your absence
when your eyse blindly meet mine
    i'm tortured by your misconception
that your leaving me far behind
as i sit here i know
    i'm loosing you

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
