    il be your beacon

When you are sad.....I will dry your tears.
When you are scared.....I will comfort your fears.
When you are worried.....I will give you hope.
When you are confused.....I will help you cope.
And when you are lost.....And can't see the light,
I shall be your beacon.....Shining ever so bright.

julez123.. This is a masterful piece of work. I'm deeply touched that one can offer another such comfort, encouragement, and hope. I feel the inspiration, sorrow and sincerity within your words. He who has ever toiled with despair; he who has ever felt alone and unloved; and he who has lost someone, and now is worried, confused or sadden... need only to read this poem to brighten their spirits. This verse opened and ended with purpose and clarity; it embraced the intangibles of friendship, and the humanity of caring. An excellent composition. thejazzpoet

What a great friend you must be, and a good mommy too, keep writing and creating - one can never express themselves enough, and when done in the right way it makes the world a better place.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
