    I Wanna

    Written May 15th, 2008

    I WANNA

I wanna break into your heart

Like a thief in the night

    And barricade the door

    Behind me tight

    I wanna steal your attention

    Like an armed robber would

    And give it all back

    Like only I could

    I wanna win your trust

    Like an Olympic gold medal

    Wear it over my heart

    Like a delicate petal

    I wanna be with you

    Still always free

    Your skin against mine

Like the sand against the sea

Short and sweet, to the point, nothing wrong with that. Some very good lines here, holding much sentiment, thanks for sharing.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
