I have to say
I Have to Say
By Dwion Johnson
I am sad to say
That as a writer I’ve lost my way
To the evils of the world, and the want to be famous
To the cold world in which many call art
But arts call disgrace
I am sad to say
That I’ve been draw into the glamour’s
Of the flashing lights
I’ve embraced the dull words of crowds
And lost my sharp tongue as individual
I am sad to say
This is my formal withdrawal as a writer
For I’ve become to corrupted with writing
I am glad to say
This is my first step towards being a poet
A protector of self thought and expression
Now what do you have to say about that?
