I have a Voice

I have a Voice

I have this voice,

It's a sullen grey,

But it bleeds bright red,

It flows through the unsung speeches,

And it shakes down the foundations of every government,

I am not afraid to show it,

It masks in a glow through every trestle of every rooftop,

It rises higher than all the skyscrapers in every city,

It stomps out any political regime of any false profit for freedom,

It's like an atom bomb just waiting to go off,

At last release of those righteous words,

At last peace from the interrogations brought forth from the media,

I just want to live in the shadows of love,

I want my heart to beat into the forthcoming days,

No war, hate, or poverty,

Just simply ignite the passions into a mist of early mornings,

And late night walks of a better night.
