    I found GOD

    I found GOD

    when I wasn’t looking

    I fell on my face in despair

    hopping he would be near

    I called on his name in a desperate measure

    hopping he would hear me from the bottom of the river

    I gurgled the water out of my lungs

    then I can speak

    so I did

    what I thought was right

    I got on my knees every night

    I heard his voice

    I heard him say

    why do you feel sad today

    I have lived a life of sin and fear

    until you came along

    and took me somewhere to the stars

    are bright and easy to see

    that’s when I noticed you cleaned the view

    for me now my hope and journey

    is for you

    when you showed me

    the way

    I should

    GO.
