I CAN DO ALL THINGS.

I CAN DO ALL THINGS.

Though i am blind,
I have seen things,you know.
I have seen the two ends of the rainbow.
Oh yes,i have.
I once saw the cherubs.

I maybe deaf,but i have heard things.
I have heard the step of the millipede,
I have heard the roaches converse.

And though lame,i have been to places.
Like the north pole,
Even the peak of everest.

Without hands i have done things.
I carried an infant.
And i fought a battle.

I have uttered words,though dumb.
My voice has been heard in foreign land.
I spoke to one at the other end of the ocean.

Outside this world,i have done things.
Things i couldn't do in it.
Unfathomable dids,in my infinite mind.

Great stuff man is this supposed to be GOD?

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
