    I Am A Storm

I always wanted to be a soft, warm, spring rain.
But, somehow all I ended up being was a storm.
I didn't mean to rain on you,
Or ruin your happy sunny day.
    I was just lonely,
And wanted to share myself with someone.
I really never intended to depress you,
    Or to block your view
    Of the pretty blue sky.
But somehow, that is what I seem to have done.
So, being that I can never give you a soft, blue sky,
    Or a warm spring rain,
    I can only apologize,
    For being a storm.

LOVE the metaphor. I know how this feels to...for I can be a storm also...lol.
