HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM
IN THE HOSPITAL, I'M DRAWING A BLANK.IN THE HOSPITAL, I HAVE A LOW RANK.
NO INSURANCE DO I HAVE.
TRYING TO BE BRAVE, I HOPE MY BODY WILL BEHAVE AND NOT BETRAY ME AS COUNTLESS OTHERS.
NOT ACT LIKE A CARELESS LOVER.
SITTING IN THIS ROOM, FIGHTING OFF THOUGHTS OF DOOM AND GLOOM.
MY CHEST IS HURTING.
IT'S HARD TO BREATHE.
WILL I EVER GET RELIEF?
THIS PACKED WAITING ROOM IS BEYOND BELIEF.
WHO DO I SEE?
WHO ELSE, BUT MY LOVE.
SENT TO ME LIKE AN ANGEL FROM ABOVE.
TO STAY WITH ME.
TO BRING ME PEACE.
TO GIVE ME A SENSE OF EMOTIONAL RELIEF.
EVEN THOUGH, MY PHYSICAL PAIN IS GREAT, TO MY BODY I AM IN TUNE AND CAN RELATE.
I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THIS WAIT!!!
