hope
I watch the tides as it washes the shore,
as it gathers the water and goes back for more.
bringing with it debris and sand.
Now, why do i feel it relates to man?
It tells a tale of strength and courage.
Lashing aginst the rocks as if to give a message.
Pushing the water again and again,
then goes back for more enduring all pain
Oh! how I wish we can learn from the tides.
Sifting the rubble along its sides,
bearing the pain as it proceeds to its goal,
convinced that some day this life would leave its soul.
as it gathers the water and goes back for more.
bringing with it debris and sand.
