Hold

Hold

Hold my shaking hands in yours and stop my trembling with your strong hold.

Our love is so sweet and smooth yet I know it will always be a lit coal safe from the bitter cold.

I know not how to put what we have into words yet I know it will never leave me.

My heart is locked in ice and yet you are the only one with the key.

I cannot stand to be without you because I need your strength to hold up my own.

So together let us dance in joy and love since for you I shall always wear my heart on the sleeve of my gown.
