    HIS WORD

Every step I'm taking toward Him, He's taking one
towards me. The fruit of life, He gives, from His tree.
He gives me the knowledge, the comprehension to
understand. To preach His word, throughout the land.

Just like His son, Jesus Christ. He preached to all, and
sacrificed. He sacrificed having riches and wealth.
Satisfaction in healing the sick, bringing good health.
He sacrificed his dignity for being ridiculed and denied.
And then he did something amazing! He exchanged his
life for ours. He was tortured and died.

Every step I'm taking toward Him, He's taking one
towards me. Following in His son's footsteps, He told
us to be. Obedient son's and daughter's He shows us
the way, to the path of righteousness, by our side He'll
    stay.

Never alone should we ever feel. His footsteps we'll
see, He always reveals. Although it may not be, when
we think it should be. Universal spirit, hearing our
pleas. That's why all things are through him, out of
respect. He died for us. So life, we'd get.

Every step I've taken toward Him, He's taken one
towards me. In His good grace, I plan to be. Preaching
and teaching His word today. One step ahead, He is
    always!

HE'S ALWAYS RIGHT ON TIME, NEVER TOO LATE. TRUST IN HIM AND HE WILL LEAD THE WAY. VERY TRUE. NICE POEM.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
