    His Faith (for dad)

If all eyes be opened up,
    then all would really see,
T'was his faith, just his faith
that brought to life that me...

If all hearts be filled up,
    then all would really feel,
T'was his faith, just his faith,
    that made today this me...

If all voices cry out loud,
    all foreign tongues speak,
then they will say "his faith,
to God, his faith, is all he is..."

    all he will be.

THAT IS QUITE BEAUTIFUL. I TRULY ENJOYED IT.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
