    Heaven’s Fire

    You are the sunshine;

    Reaching your light

    To all you love.

    You are the fire’s light,

    Your warm glow

    Healing our pain.

    You are the stars

    Shooting across the night less sky

    Embedding yourself in our hearts.

    Your memory is forever burned in our souls

    For you are the lights of heaven;

    An everlasting fire.

    -Danica Loy

    (This song is written in memory of my Aunt who has just recently passed away. November, 2, 2005, at 3:00 a.m.)

    Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
