    Hard Knock Life

I taught her not to fight unless she is in danger
Never to strike simply out of anger
She listened and learned when I showed her how to fight
She knew not to use it, not unless the time was ever right
Well the day finally came, the girl got up in her face
While the girl just taunted, she held back, I knew that would be the case
The girl crossed the invisible line and put her hands on my daughter
I am so proud to say that she responded with the things I taught her
She won the fight even though it was three against one
Three girls left losers, but mine left the champion
The girls had no idea they were going to get so rocked
I was so happy to find out mine is a chip of the old block
My family only fights when there is a just cause
But when we do, the world will see who is the boss
We try not fight, but when we do it is to win
You don't want to be our enemy, its safer as a friend
So if you are looking for trouble, better look the other way
'Cause none of you can handle the kind we would give you today
We fight to defend, to protect others even , this is true
Do not try us, or you will end up black and blue

THIS ONES SO CUTE...love your work...

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
