    Happily Never After

Why couldn't I have lived the fairytale?
    To Live happily ever after
Why did you even have to show me love
that wasnt meant to last forever?
Clueless and unaware of a bad ending
I embraced and ruined the most beautiful thing
    I had yet been shown
What scares me is I was meant to ruin it
    It wasn't meant to last
How many more things to need to fail,
In order for me to succeed?
My mind is tortured by unfinished happiness
    Re-newed self-reflection
    I suppose I'm not Cinderella
He was never really pronce charming
For if we were what needs to be for a happy ending
    I wouldn't be me
    And he wouldn't be him
We would still be an us and we're not
Now simply individuals who crossed paths
To start a fire in the pouring rain

I think this is a very nice poem, couls easily be turned into a good song I like the title because it is different and think with some good music it would be great. Thanks for sharing this ! grecowong@yahoo.com
