Good girl, you were so strong...
The girl wakes to a blaring alarm beside her head.
It screams at her, You're so late!
She stumbles out of bed and wakes her younger sister.
Her sister grumbles, Shut up, you're too loud!
The girl throws off her clothes and throws another set on the bed.
It growls, You're a slob!
She goes to the shower and jumps in before anyone can see her.
The water screams, What a waste, I'm being used on you!
The girl gets out and looks at her reflection in the mirror.
It sighs, You're so ugly!
She combs her hair while she dresses.
It weeps, You're too fat to look good in anything!
The girl skips breakfast and rides too school on the bus.
It moans, You're all alone and you have no friends!
She goes to her classes, enduring scorn the whole day.
It yells, You're wrong, wrong, wrong and you always will be!
The girl goes to lunch and refuses to eat.
It cooes, Good girl, you're becoming so strong!
She goes to the library to finish her work, and read, after school.
It says, You're so boring, all you do is read!
The girl goes home and chokes down dinner.
It hisses, You're insides are contaminated and filthy!
She lies in her bed, naked and cold.
It mumbles, You're too heavy, get off!
The girl gets on the floor, tracing her scars.
It whispers, Good girl, you're becoming so strong.
She sings to herself and ties a rope around her neck.
It harmonizes, Good girl, you're becoming so strong!
The girl stands on a chair and tries not to cry.
It giggles, Good girl, you're becoming so strong!
She kicks away the chair and sways, straining to be limp.
It congragulates her, Good girl, you're becoming so strong!
The girl feels her neck twist, and now it's in the wrong place.
It jubilates, Good girl, you've become so strong!
She sees the lights dim and then feels nothing more, only darkness.
It soothes, Good girl, you were so strong...
