    God In ME

The tap- tap- tapping on my soul.
    A sincere touch that I don't know
I close my eyes and fall to my knees
    Your Guiding light,your gentle
    breeze.
Delicate deception in my mind, I
search in the dark and have yet find
The tap- tap- tapping on my soul
Opening doors and not letting go.
The flood of pain is piercing again
I can't look in I am deep with sin
But the tap-tap- tapping of my soul
Hears your voice and I have not let
    go.
Free to find the jewel in me
Free to burn the hurt in me
Free to share the wisdom I see
while he gently tap tap taps my soul

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
