From My Heart
You were my world,
My everything.
You were all that mattered to me.
I never thought,
Anything could happen
Until the unimaginable became a major thought,
Within me.
I do not remember,
What I did.
But now I look back
And to me, we seem dead.
We are not an us,
It is now a you and me.
I still, cannot come up with an answer
For the pain I caused for you.
But I know what I did
To your heart
It was so deep and profound,
That it hurt me as well.
You told me that some day,
That I will realize that I have made a huge mistake,
That it would only take some time,
For me to acknowledge that.
I feel as I betrayed you,
Like I have stabbed you a million times,
How I left you hanging there
With absolutely nothing to hang on to.
I long to backtrack
My way back into your heart.
The place in your heart,
Where no one had ever been,
Take me there
Once again.
Please,
Forgive me.
My everything.
You were all that mattered to me.
I never thought,
Anything could happen
Until the unimaginable became a major thought,
Within me.
I do not remember,
What I did.
But now I look back
And to me, we seem dead.
We are not an us,
It is now a you and me.
I still, cannot come up with an answer
For the pain I caused for you.
But I know what I did
To your heart
It was so deep and profound,
That it hurt me as well.
You told me that some day,
That I will realize that I have made a huge mistake,
That it would only take some time,
For me to acknowledge that.
I feel as I betrayed you,
Like I have stabbed you a million times,
How I left you hanging there
With absolutely nothing to hang on to.
I long to backtrack
My way back into your heart.
The place in your heart,
Where no one had ever been,
Take me there
Once again.
Please,
Forgive me.
