    FITTED

Fitted like da cap covering his eyes
Eyes of love soul filled with hate
Hate filled finger for da trigga of da 4-5
4-5 on his hip vest on his chest
Chest a dedication to family, hommies, and hood
Hood fame so niggaz know his name
Name not government but it fit him just da same
    Same objective every night M.O.B
Money Over Bitches is just his way
Way outta reach when alphabet try to give him numbers
Numbers his fortay when it come to flippin
Flippin on niggaz when they get to trippin
Trippin on 9-5 50% of da time
Time is of da essence when he’s on da grind
Grind to eat first thing he learned
Learned it’s better to be discreet when in da street
Street life got him on lock like he doin time
Time is hard so he’s glad he’s got her
    Her smile his only solice
Solice like da peace given to hommies passed away
A-way out he hopes to find before a box for him is fitted
Fitted like the cap covering his eyes

Most life scripts are real hard. Life loves all who exist, hard or easy, vain or courageous, it all melds together in the vast ocean of beingness, eventually we return to bliss, its up to us how the routes it takes.

I love and admire your poem especially because it is real and part of all of our realities if we have the guts to face the truth. Poems from the heart are so heart felt and full of emotion with a dedicated devotion. Keep writing from the heart because you and I and so many will change the negative thoughts and release the pain so that many will forgive and heal.
