father
I looked into your eyes,
I could see your will to live.
I wanted to breathe for you,
so you could just rest.
I wanted to comfort you,
and tell you it was alright
you could stay if you like,
I knew better,
because God was already reaching for your hand
Dear Daddy,I wanted to reach inside your body,
to remove your pain.
I remember how you would say"I"m alright",
but deep down I knew you were hurting.
You hardly ever complain, how was I to know you were so sick.
You became so humble in your golden years.
I believe you are an angel now,
I can almost invision your wings,
and your humble smile.
Good bye father and take your place in God"s kingdom.
I will see you soon
